Synopsis
This weeks forecast reamins very similar to the outcome of last weeks forecast overall-low pressure in control with wet and windy conditions likely for many. Throughout the week, the long range charts have still been keen to keep the 528dam line quite close to the north of Scotland. On a couple of days it has also suggested more wintry type conditions for more of the country but lately this seems not to be the case though a slightly enhanced risk down western scotland from last week seems best to justify the change in situation on the charts. Again, the charts suggests it being mild for many and like last week, height above sea level would be an important factor as to whether you would get anything wintry with only the highest mountains in Scotland seeing a higher chance in reality. The charts also suggest any rain being heavier towards the south and more showery in the north.
