Synopsis
Since the last update their appears to be no significant change with the continued mix of some model runs showing milder air over us for Christmas day while others show a colder airflow over the UK. There currently appears to be some signals that December maybe the beginging of a cooling trend but obviously some milder spells will be thrown in at times. We still expect an unsettled Christmas period though it does seem there will be more spells where pressure is Higher than of late. Temperatures will probably fall into the cool category for most-it is probably unlikely to see anything exceptionally mild or cold during Late December at the moment. Spells of rain and showers seem likely for most with windy conditions possible at times. Any wintry conditions would be most possible over higher ground. In summary, an unsettled outlook still seems likely with generally cool temperatures and spells of rain or showers at times.
