Synopsis
A short, cold blast of Arctic air is set to affect Scotland over the next couple of days. Wintry precipitation is not expected until later on during Monday afternoon and especially overnight where showers over the Mountains of Scotland may start to turn to sleet or maybe even snow over the tops of the mountains. Accumulations are not currently expected during Monday but caution must still be taken while out on the mountains as conditions underfoot may be very slippery.
