Synopsis
Once again, a cold arctic blast is affecting the UK except the South East where slightly milder air remains. Winds are currently blowing quite a few showers into Western Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Slowly through Saturday they will move Eastwards though probably fizzling out as they do so. Showers may be heavy, particularly over the hills and mountains where some accumulations are possible. Caution is advised when out and about.
