Synopsis
An interesting day occurs on Friday. The first event albeit fairly small and minor is a decaying front moving Eastwards. As it hits the cold air over North and Mid Wales and the West Midlands, its quite likely for a small period of Light Snow, perhaps moderate times. It should last too long but conditions may be tricky where it falls onto ice aswell. A dusting is likely for many with a cm or two possible in places. The proper event of the day is in the North as a front pushes in during the afternoon and evening. Once again it may turn to snow as it hits the cold air though mostly over High ground where a few cm's are possible. It should turn back to rain for many except over the peaks of the mountains where Snow may be heavy for a time. Conditions will be tricky for a time in places. Colder air also follows behind the front so any showers behind the main precipitation could well be wintry giving occasional dustings in places.
