Synopsis
After a prolonged period of settled and cold weather, LOW Pressure has at last took over. After a series of fronts passing through, Showers are likely to follow particularly during Tuesday daytime. These showers may turn wintry over high ground in Scotland, particularly as the day wears on. Some showers may be heavy though many should be Light to moderate and not last too long as they will be driven by a brisk wind which will also cause a significant sub zero windchill. A couple of cm's is possible in places so conditions underfoot may be tricky. The showers may join to form longer spells of precpitation at times though they should begin to die out later on in the day.
