Synopsis
An occlusion bringing rain to Scotland will clear northeastwards during the early hours of Monday morning, clearing most parts by dawn. Most of the UK will then by mainly dry with some sunny spells. However showers are likely over Northern Ireland and Scotland at times during the day, perhaps one or two heavy with isolated rumbles of thunder. Elsewhere it stays mainly dry whilst most of the showers will die away during the evening, only to be replaced by persistent rain moving into western parts of Northern Ireland right at the end of this forecast period.
