Synopsis
A warm front will move into Northern Ireland during the early hours of the morning, bringing some light and patchy rain. This rain will then work into southwest Scotland during Tuesday morning, very slowly working northeastwards. An occluded front then works into Northern Ireland during the afternoon, bringing some heavier rain. There is a very small chance for a weak tornado or funnel cloud to develop, and an isolated rumble of thunder cannot be ruled out, though not expected. Elsewhere across England and Wales it will be mainly dry, sunny and warm. The weather fronts continue to track northeastwards during the evening and night-time period. Some heavy showers or thunderstorms may develop close to northern France but they should remain on the continent.
