Synopsis
A weak occluded front over England and Wales is likely to bring large cloud amounts and a few scattered showers. A few more showers are likely to develop during the day, perhaps a heavy one around midday, with the risk of an odd rumble of thunder, easing in intensity later in the afternoon. Across Northern Ireland a cluster of heavy and possibly thundery showers are likely to develop in the morning and push into southern Scotland and northern England during the afternoon, and later the North Midlands. Meanwhile an occluded front brings some more persistent rain to western and southwestern Scotland during the afternoon. Most of the showers will die away during the evening.
